Strengthening of capacity of the local communities for revenue collection from sustainable utilization of timber and non-timber forest products

One of the components of the ENPI FLEG programme in Georgia aims to strengthen the capacities of the local, forest-depending communities for alternative livelihood creation and revenue collection from utilization of timber and non-timber forest products in a sustainable manner.

The programme is supporting four pilot projects in the regions where the problem of illegal logging was particularly severe. TBSC Consulting and CENN (Consortium) were commissioned by IUCN to implement the pilot projects.
