Request for Proposals – biodiversity, gender, GIS, socio-economics and forestry/restoration assessment opportunity consultants, Serbia

IUCN Regional Office for Eastern Europe and Centrals Asia (ECARO) seeks five (5) applications from qualified individuals based in Serbia to serve as independent experts within the ADAPT project: Nature-based Solutions for resilient societies in the Western Balkans.

Each qualified consultant will provide technical support in carrying out baseline assessments and analyses that will help identify priority areas and intervention type in the Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) pilot project in the municipality of Kraljevo, Serbia. The Consultants should have experience in five (5) different areas of expertise - biodiversity, gender, GIS, socio-economics and forestry/restoration assessment opportunity. The key methodology used in the FLR process is the Restoration Opportunities Assessment Methodology, developed by IUCN and WRI.

ADAPT: Nature-based Solutions for resilient societies in the Western Balkans is a project funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by IUCN. It aims to increase ecosystem and community resilience to climate change and environmental degradation in the Western Balkans. This regional umbrella initiative works with international, national and local partners in the Western Balkans.
