A call for two Nature-based Solutions Trainers – International and Local (Western Balkans)

IUCN ECARO is seeking to contract two qualified and experienced candidates: Nature-based Solutions Trainers - one international and one local from the Western Balkans - to serve within the ADAPT project: Nature-based Solutions for resilient societies in the Western Balkans.

Two consultants will produce three new training modules on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for decision makers, local authorities and natural resource managers. They will identify specific training needs, design and develop the content and training materials and tailor them to the context of the Western Balkans region. Finally, the consultants will be asked to conduct the trainings.   

ADAPT: Nature-based Solutions for resilient societies in the Western Balkans is a project funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by IUCN ECARO. It aims to increase ecosystem and community resilience to climate change and environmental degradation in the Western Balkans. This regional umbrella initiative works with the six Western Balkan economies, regional and local partners.
