Its goal is to inspire people to plant trees with the aim of raising tree awareness and providing an educational service to all members of our society by host tree-planting and litter-collection activities.

Trees are extremely important. They provide oxygen, store carbon, stabilize the soil, and provide protection to the world's biodiversity as the largest plants on the globe. They also supply us with resources. Woodlands, rainforests, and trees in urban areas, such as parks, must be protected and maintained sustainably all over the world. Trees are not only essential for survival, but they also serve as a connection between the past, present, and future as the longest-living organisms on the planet.

Here are the reasons you should celebrate Arbor Day and Plant trees:

  • Health care for the public: Arbor Day serves as a reminder and plant trees to show respect for human health.

  • Beauty: The celebration of Arbor Day is a symbol of the tree's value.

  • Air that is clean: In the air we breathe, trees are an essential source of life-giving oxygen. Breathe clean, stay healthy and celebrate Arbor Day.

  • Conservation of Energy: Trees provide protection from the sun, provide shelter, and act as windbreaks, lowering heating and cooling costs during the hot summer and cold winter months.

  • Fresh water: Trees aid in the filtration of the water we use. The leaves of a tree delay the flow of rain on the earth, blocking soil erosion and pollution from entering our water supplies.

  • Warming of the Earth: Carbon sequestration is aided greatly by trees. CO2 is a significant contributor to global warming, and instead of causing damage to the environment, trees use it to their advantage.

The world will always reward us if we cultivate a sense of duty for it. The more we give the more we will get back, be it trees. We're proud to celebrate this day with you — a day devoted to trees — no matter how you choose to celebrate this year.
