Center for Biological Diversity

The Center for Biological Diversity is a United States-based non-profit conservation organization, headquartered in Tucson, Arizona. With a staff of over 170, we work to conserve wildlife and wildlands through advocacy using science, law, creative media, and organizing. Since our founding, our work has garnered protections for over 700 species of wildlife and plants and the designation of 713 million acres of critical habitat under the United States Endangered Species Act, as we've also advocated for strong climate regulations, an end to fossil fuel extraction on U.S. public lands, tighter pesticide regulation, and wildlife trade controls.
