Centre for Wildlife Studies

The Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS) is an internationally recognized institution for wildlife research, conservation, policy, and education. Established in 1984 as a not-for-profit NGO, we collaborate with multiple institutions using a science-based approach to conservation. Our research and conservation programs have made direct and valuable contributions to saving India’s wildlife, wild places and serving its people and aided the development of state and national policies on multiple conservation issues.
