Český svaz ochránců přírody

Czech Union for Nature Conservation (CSOP) is the largest environmental nongovernmental organization in the Czech Republic. Since its establishment in 1979 CSOP has brought together people interested in nature conservation and environmental issues as well as cultural heritage preservation. In the year 2004 the union included 380 registered local chapters and 150 groups of Young Environmentalists throughout the territory of the country, with a total of more than 10,000 members.
