Herpetario de la Facultad de Ciencias, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México

The Herpetarium is an academic unit of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México. The Herpetarium’s programmes and projects, grouped into three large blocks (teaching, research and dissemination), have the common focus of contributing to knowledge and conservation of species of amphibians and reptiles. The Center has provided advice to various governmental and non-governmental agencies, primarily on issues related to the management and conservation of species; reproduction programmes of amphibians and reptiles in captivity with a view to carry out research that will contribute to knowledge, management and conservation of these groups of vertebrae.
