IORA Ecological Trust

IORA Trust is a registered public and charitable trust, which was established in 2014. Our work focuses on protecting and enhancing natural ecosystems through on high impact ground interventions, positive community engagement, knowledge creation and advanced monitoring. It was established realising the lack of focus of Indian non-profit organisations on natural ecosystems and climate change at the national level. In addition to addressing this issue, IORA Trust was also established to bridge the gap between scientific research, policy, and on-ground implementation. Since its inception, the trust has focused on restoring, enhancing and protecting natural ecosystems through positive community engagement, application of latest technology for implementation and impact assessment, utilization of financing mechanisms, knowledge creation and advanced monitoring, thereby realising their true value to society.
