Sociedad Española de Biología de la Conservación de Plantas

The SEBCP seeks to study and carry out activities concerning plant conservation in Spain. It seeks to be a useful scientific and technical authority for the governments for the preparation of land use management policies respectful towards plant conservation, from ecosystems to species. Currently, SEBCP is working with the Ministry for the Environment on the Atlas and Red Book of Vascular Plants in Spain, a project that will continue until at least 2011. SEBCP`s activities include: Atlas of endangered Flora of Spain; Red List of Endangered Vascular Plants, and plant conservation.
