Union of Agricultural work Committee

AWC was established in 1986 in response to the vulnerable socio-political circumstance of farmers that resulted from occupation policies in confiscating lands and water and therefore directly harmed the interests of farmers and Palestinians. The priorities of the Union at the beginning focused on struggling with the Israeli Occupation’s procedures that marginalized agriculture and destroyed the Palestinian natural resources. From 1997-now, UAWC expand its activities to include animal welfare conservation, water resources management, responding to climate, food, and development challenges, preservation of earth’s renewable natural resources, utilizing Natural resources in a way that is conducive to economic, social, educational human prosperity.
