Youth Ecological Movement

BIOM is a public non-profit organization bringing together young scientists and leaders to address environmental problems in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Central-Asian region. We are 21st century people. We recognize the reality of the ecological crisis and are ready to actively intervene in order to achieve more harmonious interactions between human beings and the rest of nature. As young scientists we are confident that natural ecosystems underlie the existence and development of our civilization as well as life on earth. We believe that the achievement of Sustainable Development is only possible given the implementation of an ecosystem approach. As citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic we believe that any solution to environmental issues will not be efficient without the wide involvement of various civil society groups.
