More about the Specialist Group
Our work is to assess the conservation status of all plant species native or naturally occurring in Indonesia. We focus on endemic species and endemic and commercial plant species for our Red List assessments.
One of our objectives is that the national Red List data will be used as a standard guide for government and stakeholders to carry out best forest management practices.
Specialist Group work
We aim to complete the conservation status assessment of Indonesian native plant species. To improve the understanding of the assessors on the Red List assessment process, the IUCN Red List Categories and Criteria, and the supporting information requirements for assessments.
